Maya Jama says she was stopped by airport immigration officers in the US ahead of Love Island's launch.
The ITV2 dating show will be back on our screens on June 5 when a new bunch of starry-eyed singletons set their hearts on love - and sponsorship deals.
Fans can't wait for the summer series to start and it seems the show's a big hit across the pond as host Maya explained she was asked about what goes down in the villa while in America.
Describing the surprise encounter, she said: "I was in the airport recently going to America and the woman at immigration was telling me how much she loved the show.

The show kicks off on June 5 (Instagram)"She was asking me questions about all of the Islanders. I wasn’t asked any questions about why I was in the country, but instead everything that went down last series!"

It's only been two months since the winter edition of the show wrapped in South Africa, but bosses have already teased the line-up of new Islanders winging their way to Spain.
Among the hopefuls is beautician Ruchee Gurung, who was the first contestant to be announced.
Asked why she wants to join Love Island, the 24-year-old from Sutton said: "I’m single and looking for love, and it’s the perfect opportunity for me to find someone. I’m a relationship kind of girl, but so far it’s not worked out for me.
Joining her is semi-professional footballer Tyrique Hyde.

Tyrique Hyde is a semi-professional football playerAsked what he'll bring to the villa, he said: "I’ll bring vibes, confidence, good energy and honesty. I don’t sit on the fence, if I have an opinion I will speak up. I’m also not afraid to go after what I want."
He is also pals with former Islander, Toby Aromolaran, as he added of the pair's close bond: "Toby is one of my best friends, we grew up together and were in the same class at school."
As in the last series, ITV has implemented a ban on Islanders' contestants' families or friends running their social media accounts while they're on the show.
The broadcaster will also train the contestants on the impacts of social media, handling negativity and financial matters, before they enter the Love Island villa.
Former Islanders have backed the changes, with season five contestant Amy Hart revealing her family had to read "death threats" sent to her account while they managed her socials while she was on the show.
