The official start of summer is just four weeks away, which means I’m quickly running out of time to sort my skin out ahead of my upcoming summer holidays, hen parties and music festivals. But from head to toe in the nick of time.

The beauty subscription company and retailer has revealed their new which features more than £130 worth of summer skincare for just £40.

Complete with SPF, suncare, self-tan and skin-smoothing products, it truly is the ultimate way to prep your skin for the rays to come.

The comes in an iridescent sleeve and cute multi coloured box. I’ve always found these boxes to be really useful for creating pamper hampers for birthdays of friends and family members, or in drawers as little dividers to keep things safe.

But for the next four weeks, this box isn’t leaving my bedside table, as I’m going to be using it religiously up until the very moment I get on the plane for my first holiday abroad in five years.

Three of the nine products in the box are all , which already exceeds the cost of the box, essentially making the rest of it free. The perfect for exfoliating to buff skin into a summer glow.

Containing almond and coconut, it can be used on dry skin for a heavier exfoliation, or with water for a more gentle effect. Complete with eucalyptus oil, it smells super fresh and earthy with a spa-like quality ideal for upgrading your showers.

Then there’s the full-size which can be used before bed to work overnight. Deeply hydrating with hyaluronic acid, it doesn’t dry the skin out, and you can add as many or as few drops as you want to get a desired tan. I’ve never really used tanning products because I find them a bit scary and high-maintenance, but this is a really easy way to get a glow without too much effort. I tend to add four drops to my night cream for a subtle effect.

One of the products I was most impressed with was the - which smells exactly like Calypso lollies, which couldn’t be more summery if it tried. Harnessing the powers of lactic acid, the resurfacing treatment gently buffs away dead, dull surface cells to help combat pigmentation and uneven areas. I’ve been very self conscious about the appearance of my thighs of late, so this power-product is my new best friend. The fact it smells incredible makes it all the more delightful to use, too.

I recently ran out of my favourite and haven’t had change to restock it yet, but in the meantime, I’ll be using the . At first glance, cream appears green but upon application it adapts to match your skin-tone and evens out redness while reducing the appearance of blemishes. Personally I don’t love it quite as much as the Dr Jart product, but it’ll definitely save me having to restock for a little while.

Piz Buin is a brand I’ve used for the longest time, and my dad swears by it. We’re both pale, ginger and suffer with prickly heat, but this has always been a winner for us. Priced at £15.48, it’s not the cheapest suncream on the market, but being able to pick it up in a bundle full of other suncare saviours helps absorb the cost and make it feel much more worthwhile.

But there are also some lesser known (to me, anyway) products featured, including the which is a great way to wash away salt, sand and chlorine after a day at the beach or pool, as well as the

Out of all of the products, I’d say the Mio Heavenly Body Purifying Scrub, Ren AHA Smart Renewal Body Serum and Piz Buin Moisturising Lotion SPF 30 are my favourites, as well as the Sol De Janeiro Bom Dia Cream, which together are worth well over the

If you do happen to discover any products you won’t use or don’t like, I like to keep a box of unopened products to give as gifts throughout the year, which saves me money on stocking fillers in the long run.

With another commenting: “Fabulous summer skin set, containing all you need to keep glowing throughout the summer. High quality brands and at a fantastic price. HIghly recommend.”
