North West towers alongside Kim Kardashian weeks before her 10th birthday
Kim Kardashian startled her fans when she shared a series of photos of herself with her young daughter - who looked almost as tall as her despite her age still being in single figures.
The 42-year-old reality star is the mother of four children that she shares with ex-husband Kanye West, 45.
At nine-years-old, and turning 10 next month, North is the oldest of Kim and Kanye’s children -with the other three being seven-year-old son Saint, five-year-old daughter Chicago, and four-year-old son Psalm.
But fans of the family were shocked to see North looking far older than her years as she towered alongside her mother and dressed in designer clothing.
Taking to Instagram on Friday, Kim shared a sting of snaps of herself alongside her eldest child - while they both seemed to be dressed head to toe in Chanel.

In the photos, mid-riff baring Kim pouted and held a rigid posture while carrying a large handbag in one hand and had her other arm around her child.
While Kim was wearing heels, it looked like North was wearing flat soled shoes - and appeared less than a head shorter than her fame hungry mother.
Many followers commented that North would soon surpass Kim, with one follower commenting: “truly your replacement.”

But other fans were shocked by how old North looked while posing in designer clobber alongside her mother.
One shocked follower commented: “She is only 9 why u making her grow up so quickly pipe it down a little.
Another wrote: “It’s giving ‘a teenager’.... To think she’s just 9.”
While a further fan noted: “She’s growing!”
Some other followers commented that they liked seeing the mother and daughter dup spending time together, with one writing: “Love your relationship with her.”

Kim recently opened up about struggling to balance co-parenting with her ex-husband as they try to raise their children following their divorce - while shielding their children from their divorce woes.
Breaking into tears at the end of last year, Kim said: "Co-parenting is really f***ing hard.
"If they don't know things that are being said, why would I ever bring that energy to them? That is real, heavy, grownup s*** that they are not ready to deal with.

Kim and Kanye married in 2014 in a lavish ceremony that received widespread attention - not least because they installed a golden toilet at their reception.
But the romance collapsed during lockdown and the pair split in 2021 and their divorce was finalised in November last year.
