Fashion firm's 'brag' about Harry raises questions amongst royal fans

Royal fans have been left divided after a luxury fashion brand bragged about dressing Prince Harry for the Coronation.

The Duke of Sussex wore a custom three-piece Dior morning suit - after previously sparking speculation that he may have signed a brand deal with the designer.

Straight after King Charles' Coronation finished, Harry jumped in a car and set off west as he faces a race against time to attend his son's birthday party.

At that time, Dior posted on Twitter: "Tailoring fit for royalty. Dior is honored to have dressed Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, for the coronation of King Charles III in a custom design by Kim Jones.

"Seen arriving at Westminster Abbey, gain an insight into the savoir-faire of his three-piece suit next.”

Rebecca English, Royal Editor at the Mail, shared the post and added: "Interesting….."

One fan wrote: "He was dressed impeccably! I'm glad he was there. He belonged there and it was a good choice for him to go. I'm amazed I got to see history in the making."

One person wrote: "Merching off the coronation Dior? Shame on you… will not purchase from you again."

A second wrote: "Congratulations Dior."

Harry arrived at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) at around 7.30pm local time (3.30am UK) to reunite with his son on his birthday.

Prince Archie turned four on Saturday and spent the day with his mother, the Duchess of Sussex, at their US home.

British Airways flight attendants confirmed that Harry had been on the flight but said they were not permitted to discuss the details of his trip.

The duke’s appearance at the coronation marked his first public appearance alongside the royals since he lambasted his family in his controversial memoir Spare.

The timing of the Coronation was very awkward for Harry as Prince Archie celebrated his fourth birthday.

Despite being the grandchildren of the new King, it is believed that Archie and sister Princess Lilibet, one, were not invited, with sources citing that the children are "very young".

Meghan was invited but decided to stay at home with the kids - and get ready for an "intimate" birthday party for Archie.

Earlier this month, a royal source told The Mirror: "After much back and forth, Harry said that he would be returning for the King's Coronation but it will only be a fleeting visit.

"Organisers have been told Harry won't be attending the concert with the rest of the Royal Family, which is a great shame as it will be such a spectacular event.
