Thomas Markle has made a public plea to Prince Harry in the hopes of mending his relationship with his daughter, Meghan Markle.

Meghan has been estranged from her father since her wedding in 2018, as well as her half-siblings Samantha and Thomas Jr., who she hasn't spoken to for over a decade.

During a bombshell tell-all interview with Australia's Channel 7 News, Thomas was joined by Samantha and Thomas Jr to discuss Meghan and to air "treasured memories, home truths and secret tapes" that are said to be "all coming out".

Thomas speaking out in the new Australian bombshell interview comes as the Markle family tries to debunk some of the claims made in the Duke and Sussex's Netflix series, according to reports.

The family are putting out their side of the story to the public ahead of King Charles III 's Coronation on May 6.

In the interview, Meghan's half-siblings each took shots at the former royal, with Samantha claiming that without her father, Meghan would still be a waitress and Thomas insisting that the family "won't be going anywhere."

Samantha, who has always been highly-critical of Meghan, also made a dig at her relationship with Harry, stating that they're in a "toxic" and "unhealthy" relationship.

Meanwhile, Meghan's father took a different approach and instead pleaded to have "the daughter he lost" back. He also urged Harry to "play peacemaker" for the pair.

Journalist Taylor Auerbach asked Thomas during the interview: "Do you think Harry should play the peacemaker?"

To which, Thomas replied: "I think he could help."

Elsewhere in the interview an, excerpt from Harry's tell-all book Spare revealed that Meghan was "mourning the loss of her father."

Responding to the statement, Thomas said: "Exactly, she killed me and then mourned me."

Later, he added: "I wish that we could sit down and talk. I wish we could work out our differences. She loved me, I’m her hero and suddenly I was thrown out."

The 78-year-old's plea comes after Thomas confessed he was 'lucky to be alive' following a stroke last year. At the time, a source told us that Meghan was worried about her father's health despite being estranged from her family.

The source claimed: "Despite their estrangement, Meghan is concerned. She wants to know if there is any way to contact her father privately, without other family knowing about it or having to get involved."
