New pictures of Camilla wearing late Queen Elizabeth II's pearl earrings
Camilla has given a nod to the late Queen Elizabeth II after wearing her pearl earrings in the most recent portrait taken alongside King Charles before his coronation next weekend.
The Queen Consort wore them proudly as she stood beside the King in a set of photographs, which will be the final portraits of the pair, before they are crowned.
She is pictured wearing the late monarch's pearl set, which has sapphire and ruby gemstones, as well as a pearl necklace which is from her own collection.
Photographer Hugo Burnand took the photos of the pair in Buckingham Palace's blue drawing room last month.
The 59-year-old captured the Royals standing side by side in front of a portrait of King George V which was painted shortly after his coronation in June 1911.

Camilla's nod to the late Queen also represented a trend of female monarchs before her who would often wear pearls around their neck.

The images will play an important role in capturing the historic event and will inspire comparisons to the famous portraits of the late Queen Elizabeth taken by Cecil Beaton at her coronation in 1953.
