Strange final image of missing man leaving grocery store and abandoning car

The strange image of a missing man last seen leaving a grocery store carrying a box with his mouth has raised questions about his disappearance.

New Boston Police Department has launched a search for Devin Whitham, a 38-year-old man from Saxtons River, Vermont who was reported missing on Sunday, April 23.

Mr Whitham was last seen leaving a convenience store on Sunday morning at approximately 10:30am local time.

His photo, taken in that morning at the convenience store, has been released to assist with the search.

The search began on April 24, when New Boston officers discovered an abandoned car in the parking lot of Lang Station on Gregg Mill Road.

The recreational parking area is known to be used by visitors to the New Boston Rail Trail. Officers subsequently learned that the car belonged to Mr Whitham, who had been reported missing from Vermont.

Searches were conducted by foot throughout the night and resumed on Tuesday morning, with assistance from the New Hampshire State Police aerial unit, which conducted helicopter patrols along the rail trail where the car was located.

Despite extensive searches, Mr Whitham has not yet been located.

Mr Whitham is described as being 5’11”, 270lbs, with green eyes and partially bald. He has no known connections to New Boston or the greater New Boston area.

He works as the director of information technology at The Greenwood School in Putney, Vermont, and it is still unknown what he was doing in New Boston.
