Manchester City will be aiming to reach a first FA Cup final in four years as they travel south to London to take on Sheffield United in a Wembley semi-final.

It's been four years since City won the FA Cup, with their 6-0 final win in 2019 against Watford forming part of a famous domestic treble for Pep Guardiola's side. However, with no domestic cup trophies in two years it is a relative drought for City and one which they can go a step closer to ending on Saturday.

Sheffield United stand in their way, with the four-time winners having a far more considerable drought in the competition, having not won since 1925. However, with a 14-match unbeaten City side standing in their way, Paul Heckingbottom may not be carrying too much hope of an upset.

It has been a good season for the Blades, who look set for a return to the Premier League, currently sitting eight points clear in second place in the Championship table. Their two-year absence from the top flight has seen some talented players emerge, with Iliman N'Diaye and Anel Ahmedhodzic both looking like exciting talents for the future after impressive campaigns.

City will also have to contend with a more hectic schedule this week, following their trip to Bayern Munich on Wednesday and Sheffield United will be hoping that their home win against Bristol City a day earlier on Tuesday can provide an advantage.
