A dog attack victim has shown off the horror of injuries he suffered at the teeth of two loose dogs that attacked five other people in a bloody rampage.

Simon Edge was bitten four times in the bloody attack by the four-legged brute, with cuts on his lower back, arm and torso.

In the wake of the attack Simon staggered home to his house on Willow Gardens, Birmingham.

At home, photographs were taken of his injuries, including deep cuts to his arms as well as deep gash to his side, which required a visit to A&E.

Whilst there he met other people hurt by the dogs, Birmingham Live reported.

West Midlands Police have since arrested a 28-year-old man on suspicion of possessing a dog that was dangerously out of control.

Mr Edge said: “They were strong, vicious dogs.

“I had just been to the dentist. It happened on Barford Road, around 50 yards from Willow Gardens.

"These two dogs came bounding towards me. I don't know what breed they were but they were big. One was a bluey grey, the other was chocolate brown, black. I sort of moved out the way a bit and they set about me.

"I got bitten four times, twice on the lower back, on the left arm and once on the left-hand side of my torso. There was a car next to me with a lady inside and she was screaming with her hands up.

"The dogs let me go and ran off in the direction of the Muslim Funeral Directors on Barford Road. I went home and my wounds were stinging."

As I went to City Hospital, I saw police going to Barford Road. When I got to A&E, the lady who I had seen in the car sat next to me. She said someone she knew had got attacked as well.

"Behind me, I noticed a neighbour of mine who had been attacked. Then in front of me, there was a young girl, maybe 14 or 15 and she had been attacked - her arms were bandaged.

"I got the impression that my injuries were mild in comparison to hers. It was a shock. The young girl asked me how long the attack lasted.

“It felt like eternity but it was less than a minute."
