Baby boy dies days after mum charged with murdering her two other children
A baby boy has died just two days after his mom was accused of strangling her two other children to death and trying to take her own life by jumping out of a window.
Lindsay Clancy, 32, was charged with two counts of murder after her husband Patrick returned to their Massachusetts home to find their three children unconscious, a friend claimed.
Cora, aged five, and three-year-old Dawson were pronounced dead at hospital. Although an official cause of death is yet to be determined, authorities say they appear to have been strangled.
Seven-month-old Calen died yesterday after being airlifted to hospital in a critical condition, confirmed the Plymouth District Attorney's Office.
A statement said: "[On Friday], at approximately 12.30pm, the state Office of the Chief Medical Examiner contacted Massachusetts State Police assigned to our office to report that at 11.18am, the third Clancy child was pronounced deceased at Children’s Hospital in Boston."
