“Chunli was taken into custody without incident and the weapon was located in his vehicle,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement. “There is no current outstanding threat to the community.”

He was seen being ordered to get out of a car by police and then being forced to the ground before he was handcuffed and taken away.

A witness told reporters: "He seemed calm and quiet, he didn't react much when he was taken down."

The areas where the incidents have taken place have been taped off and police can be seen speaking to workers at the farms.
