Katie Price’s husband reunited with his father behind bars in Dubai prison
Katie Price’s jail-bird husband has made a new friend behind bars – his dad, Peter.
Conman Lee Andrews’ father joined him in Dubai’s notorious Al Awir prison earlier this week after being reported to officials by a third party.
Father and son are understood to have seen one another inside the jail, with both believed to be facing allegations of fraud.
Lee is currently trying to raise funds to pay off his debts and be released, from where he faces extradition. He hopes to return to the UK, to be with his wife.
Sources say patient Katie has finally snapped – and is now “at the end of her tether”.
A pal added: “It is quite astonishing – you really couldn’t make this up.
“But both Lee and his dad are now behind bars, in the same prison. Lee maintains his innocence, and is hoping to pay off his outstanding debts and get out of that hell hole as quickly as possible.
“He is trying to raise the collateral to get him out of the country, and return to the UK where he hopes to start his life afresh.
“Whether poor Katie will be there to greet him on the other side remains to be seen. Right now she is furious with it all, and fed up with all the drama and white noise her husband is bringing.
“Friends are urging her to leave him.”
The couple, meanwhile, face another battle to get back their dog, Dubaii – a seven month old Pomsky.
The puppy has been taken by Lee’s ex, Dina, who is refusing to let the animal back into Lee’s hands – despite Katie paying for him.
A source added: “Katie is livid – she just wants her dog back with her in the UK. To be honest, right now she is more focused on getting Dubaii back than she is Lee.”
This is the third time in 10 months Lee has been locked-up.
He has had a raft of damning allegations levelled against him, including ex-girlfriends who have gone on the record to share their horror stories at his hands.
He has also been accused of conning people out of thousands of pounds – claims he denies.
The couple married in January, just 10 days after meeting.
In May, Lee was taken by cops and, he claims, taken to a black site for questioning.
It was later discovered he was in Al-Awir prison, where he remained for one month before being released and having an emotional reunion with wife Katie.
