A second boy has been charged with murder in connection with the death of a 17-year-old in south-west London.

The 15-year-old, who has not been named due to his age, will appear at Ealing Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, charged with murder and possession of a knife.

A second suspect, a 14-year-old boy, is facing the same charges and is set to appear at the Old Bailey on Thursday.

They are both accused of murdering Jamal Coombes, 17, who died following a confrontation on Glycena Road, Battersea, at 4:20 am on Saturday.

A boy and a girl, both aged 15, who were arrested on suspicion of murder on Saturday have been released on bail.
