Police release CCTV images after serious assault in Arbroath

Police have released CCTV images of a man following a serious assault in Arbroath.

The incident occurred at a premises in the Lordburn area at around 11:20 pm on Friday, February 13.

Officers are now looking to speak to a man captured by CCTV cameras, as they believe he may be able to assist them in their ongoing investigation.

He is described as approximately 6 feet tall, of heavy build, and has dark, short facial hair. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black bomber jacket, a dark top, and light-colored jeans.

Detective Constable Darren Suttie said, “We are asking the man pictured, or anyone who knows the man in the image, to get in touch.”

Anyone who can help or believes they have any relevant information is advised to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 2241 of February 14, 2026, or make a call to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
