Masked ram raid gang uses digger to rip ATM from Nationwide branch
This is the shocking moment a masked ram raid gang used a digger to rip out a cash machine from a building society.
The theft of tens of thousands of pounds happened just after 3.15am on Tuesday at the Nationwide branch in Ramsey, Cambridgeshire.

Dramatic footage shows two vehicles pulling up near the bank before a telehandler is driven into view.
The heavy-duty machine is then seen ramming into the building multiple times.
It tears the cash machine free before masked men are seen loading it into the back of a truck.
The vehicle makes a quick getaway from the scene in the early hours of the morning.

Two other men are then seen getting into a second car and swiftly driving away before the footage ends.
Cambridgeshire Police said they believe the telehandler was stolen.
Two other vehicles were involved in the dramatic crime.
Police said a bakery van seen pulling up while the thieves were loading the cash machine into their truck had nothing to do with the ram raid.
The Nationwide Building Society said: “We are aware of the incident at our branch in Ramsey which happened early this morning.
“We are working to reopen the branch in the coming days and replace the ATM as soon as possible.
“In the meantime, customers can visit one of our nearby branches for face-to-face service, such as Whittlesey.
“We recommend checking locations and opening hours on our website.”
Officers are appealing for any witnesses, anyone who saw any suspicious vehicles, or anyone with dash cam or CCTV footage.
Witnesses who have footage that could assist the investigation are asked to contact the police quoting reference 35/44789/26.
