This is the shocking moment three teenage knife attackers celebrated after murdering 16-year-old Kayden Moy on Irvine Beach.

Jay Stewart, 18, and a 15-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, were found guilty of acting with 18-year-old killer Cole Turley on May 17 last year.

At a trial at Glasgow High Court, a jury heard that the callous trio fled the beach while Kayden was fighting for his life.

And grim CCTV footage from the area captured the moment that the callous killers ran from the scene and celebrated together after the stabbing.

The video shows the three teenagers running across the road and along the pavement while looking back over their shoulders.

Turley ran in front wearing a dark tracksuit, while topless thug Stewart followed with the 15-year-old running behind holding a knife.

Blade thug Turley can be seen turning and shaking hands with Stewart, with both teenagers smiling after the shocking ordeal.

Stewart then ran across the road as Turley went back to greet the 15-year-old.

The pair were then seen jubilantly cheering and celebrating together, hugging and cuddling while whooping as they followed Stewart.

Turley then breaks away and begins jumping and hollering in the middle of the road, gesturing back towards the direction they came from.

Stewart also cheers and waves his arms as the other two thugs join him.

They then walk along the beach out of the camera’s view with their hoods pulled up and faces covered.

The “ecstatic” thugs went on to create a sick rap song mocking Kayden as medics tried desperately to save Kayden.

Turley also acted out the vicious murder on the couch of a friend whose flat was used as a hideout.

Stewart was subject to a community payback order at the time of the killing for possession of a machete.

This was imposed just four days before the murder. His other previous conviction was a breach of the peace with aknife.

Cole Turley admitted to chasing and repeatedly stabbing Kayden Moy to death

The jury previously heard that Turley, Stewart and the 15-year-old were part of The Murray Boys gang of East Kilbride,Lanarkshire, and Kayden and his pals were, meanwhile, part of a rival group, nicknamed Himshie.

Stewart and the 15-year-old travelled together to the beach with Turley after learning that a 17-year-old associate had been in a fight with a member of Kayden’s group earlier that day.

The yobs threw rocks “the size of hands” in the area in which Kayden and his friends were hanging out, which encouraged Kayden and another boy, who gave evidence – to head up the sand dunes to confront the Murray trio.

It was stated that the groups were 10 feet from each other when Turley whipped out a knife and Stewart revealed a cosh.

The teen witness claimed he and Kayden told the pair to get rid of their weapons and offered to instead “box” them, with their bare hands.

But Turley ran at them, brandishing the knife. The witness told how both lads made a run for it, but Kayden slipped and fell onto the sand, allowing the monster to pounce on him.

Turley then inflicted two stab wounds with a lock-back knife – one to his leg and another to the left side of his torso, which was 19cm deep and fatal.

Medics battled to save his life as the helpless teen went into cardiac arrest, which included assisted oxygen, CPR and a blood transfusion.

Jurors also heard that an airambulancearrived at the beach, however, Kayden was eventually taken to CrosshouseHospitalinKilmarnockby a road ambulance.

The popular teen sadly passed away later that evening at 11.33pm – on his mum’sbirthday.

Detective Chief Inspector Campbell Jackson, senior investigating officer, said: “Today’s outcome will never compensate for Kayden’s death; it won’t ease the heartache his family and friends must feel every single day.

“My thoughts very much remain with Kayden’s parents, brothers and his family and friends for their devastating loss.

“However, I do hope that they find some comfort in seeing justice being done.

“Kayden’s death highlights the devastating impact of knife crime, not only on individuals, but for families and our wider communities.

“To be clear, there is absolutely no excuse for carrying or using a knife to harm others.

“Kayden was robbed of his future that day and his family and friends were robbed of a future with him.

“He should have made it home with memories that day of a day at the beach, but the actions of others means that Kayden will never grow up into adulthood.”

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank members of the public who assisted with our enquiries, and to thank all officers and staff involved in the investigation for their dedication, professionalism and commitment.”

Judge Lord Scott deferred their sentence, alongside Turley, pending background reports until next month.

The judge said: “You have been found guilty of murder, and there is a sentence prescribed by law for that.

“I need information on your background due to your age. In the meantime, you will be remanded in custody.”
