Missing British influencer Rachel Kerr found safe after five-day disappearance in Morocco
Missing Brit model and travel influencer Rachel Kerr has been found and is back with family, her loved ones have confirmed.
The 31-year-old checked out of her hotel after a night of partying before turning off her phone and vanishing for five days – leaving her family “extremely worried”.

But cousin Claire Hill announced today: “Rachel has now been traced and is safe in the care of family.”
And Peter Kerr, believed to be the Scot’s husband, added just after 8pm UK time: “Rachel has now been found and is with her brother.”
Confirmation from Rachel’s relatives she had been located came after reports she had been traced to an apartment in the Moroccan city of Agadir.
Ayoub Zaroual had said on a local Facebook site: “Agadir police have located the missing Scottish tourist and influencer Rachel Kerr, confirming she is safe and was found in an apartment in the city after voluntarily checking out of her hotel.”

Peter initially described it as “fake news” and family who had travelled to Morocco to try to find Rachel also rubbished the reports.
Rachel’s friend Alexis Shaw had said overnight: “She is in mental crisis and a danger to herself” as she denied speculation the Scots tourist had been spending time with a Moroccan barman.
Alexis, who lives in Kirkby near Liverpool, had already confirmed the police were involved in one of her first Facebook posts after the worrying disappearance.
But after Rachel voluntarily checked out of her hotel last week, she was not threatened, attacked or coerced in any way, the Agadir Security Authority said on Wednesday.

A source close to the investigation told The Sun that Rachel “wants to continue her vacation”, despite reports of loved ones being concerned for her mental health.
They added: “Following reports made by her family, the King’s Prosecutor opened an inquiry into her disappearance.
“As this has no criminal nexus, this inquiry is set to be closed shortly.”
Police used CCTV to track down and locate the missing Brit, the source added.

Local authorities said: “Police located her in an apartment in Agadir, where she was found to have left her hotel of her own accord and had not been subjected to any attack or threat to her physical safety.
“Authorities confirmed she is still in Morocco under normal circumstances and is in contact with her brother, who entered the country on April 22 and reached her in Agadir.”
In the last few weeks, a friend of Rachel claimed she refused to board a plane home and instead extended her stay in Morocco.
A short time later, she was said to have run out of money on the same day she ventured out to a local nightclub where she was last seen by friends.

Rachel landed in Agadir Al-Massira International Airport in southwest Morocco on March 30 after a four-hour flight from Scotland, where she lives.
She shared videos and pictures to her TikTok and Instagram shortly after landing which included snaps of her hotel – the Caribbean Village.
Rachel said she was staying in Morocco to escape her hometown of Dunblane, Scotland, and to “get some sun in my body”.
On the night she disappeared, Rachel headed out to a popular nightclub just two minutes away from the hotel.
She went to the SMART NightClub, described online as a high-energy popular dance venue, and stayed until the early hours of the morning.
She was last seen by friends leaving the club on April 25, at around 5am.
Rachel is then known to have checked out of the Caribbean Village hotel and left the complex.
She was then found five days later on April 29 in an apartment.
Rachel is also known for her modeling work, public speaking and being a published author, according to her bio on Instagram.
Social media posts appear to show she got married back in November 2017 when she was around 23 years old.
