Southampton murder: teen arrested after 25-year-old Tia Langdon found dead
The 25-year-old was found on Thursday, August 28, with significant injuries.
She was rushed to the hospital, but despite the efforts of doctors, she was tragically pronounced dead the following day.
Officers from Hampshire Police’s Major Crime Unit continue to investigate the incident, which they are treating as a murder.
Police arrested an 18-year-old teen on suspicion of murder.
He remains in custody.
Cops said in an update: "A woman who sadly died in Southampton last week (August 29) can now be named.
"Tia Langdon from Southampton was found on Thursday, August 28, with significant injuries following an incident that occurred within a flat in Cuckemere Lane around 2:45 pm.
"The 25-year-old was rushed to the hospital, but despite the efforts of doctors, was tragically pronounced dead the following day.
"Tia’s family is being supported by specialist officers at this time.
"Officers from our Major Crime Unit continue to investigate the incident."
