SpaceX launched two rockets in six hours
Elon Musk’s company SpaceX has conducted 55 Falcon 9 launches in 2025, with 38 of those missions dedicated to building the Starlink constellation, the world’s largest satellite internet network.
On Saturday, May 10, SpaceX launched two new batches of Starlink satellites within six hours, the company reported.
The first launch occurred at 02:19 Kyiv time from the Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. A Falcon 9 rocket deployed 26 Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit about an hour later.
The second batch, consisting of 28 Starlink satellites, was launched at 08:28 from Cape Canaveral, Florida, aboard another Falcon 9 rocket.
To date, SpaceX has placed more than 7,300 active Starlink satellites into orbit—and that number continues to grow.
