Prince Harry, 40, who recently lost a legal case in London, has found himself in another awkward situation—this time in his home country.

The royal was caught on a doorbell camera in the capital after mistakenly ringing the wrong house while trying to visit a friend, The Sun reports.

Harry, who had told the court he doesn’t feel safe in the UK, went to see a friend but accidentally rang the doorbells of three different homes before finding the right address.

One resident of the neighborhood said their housekeeper opened the door but didn’t recognize the prince.

“We were shocked when we saw it was him on the camera. We only realized after the neighbors started talking—and then we were like, ‘Oh, yeah!’” the resident told reporters.

Another eyewitness added:

“Two of the houses he knocked on are on completely opposite ends of a road that’s about half a mile long. It’s a bit odd that he didn’t seem to know which house he was looking for. I don’t think most people would just go door to door like that—especially not if they felt unsafe.”

In the doorbell camera image, Prince Harry is seen without a tie, wearing a blue suit, and holding a phone to his right ear.

While in London for his court case, the younger son of the British king stayed at a friend’s luxury home and—contrary to standard security protocols—even ordered Deliveroo to the front door.

In his appeal to the Court of Appeal, Harry claimed that his “life was at risk” while in the UK after his automatic entitlement to round-the-clock armed protection was revoked following his decision to step back from being a working member of the royal family.
