Kate Middleton and Prince Harry reach 'stalemate' in bid to heal family rift
Prince Harry is reported to be 'hesitant' to reach out to his sister-in-law Princess Kate and to try to repair their once close relationship.
The pair were once thought close and prior to Harry's marriage to Meghan Markle, the Duke was often seen in a trio alongside his older brother Prince William and Princess Kate. However in recent years it appears the relationship between the brothers has become difficult and tense, causing a knock on effect to Harry and Kate's friendship.
A royal expert has revealed that the Duke is "concerned" about Kate, but reluctant to reach out as "he's been given the cold shoulder" and worries he'd be met with the same again.

I’m sure he’s concerned about her as well, but I know that she wants to have nothing to do with them."

Describing the relationship between the two couples as "stalemate" with neither side willing to make the first move to try and heal their relationship, Anderson added: "Every time he’s gone there, he’s been given the cold shoulder and he’s aware of that, I think he fears it’ll just be the same situation all over."
The comments come as Princess Kate is currently off work following abdominal surgery. Speaking at the time of her surgery, Kensington Palace said she would be off until around Easter time and they would not be providing updates on her condition. She was seen for the first time earlier this week, when she was photographed out driving near her Windsor home with her mum Carole Middleton.
