Louis Walsh "won't hold back" during his time inside the Celebrity Big Brother house, with the music mogul set to "say it how it is" as he makes his big returns to our screens.

The X Factor legend, 71, will join the likes of former This Morning presenter Fern Britton, Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and more famous faces and enter the famous house live on ITV this evening. Louis has kept a relatively low profile over recent years, following his exit from The X Factor in 2018, but the star's pals have promised Big Brother viewers to expect some juicy TV moments from Louis ahead of his big comeback.

"Everyone loves Louis and they’ll see him for the fun, big hearted and spirited person that he is in the Big Brother house," a source close to Louis tells the Mirror. "But the thing you have to remember about Louis is that he’ll say it how it is and if he’s doesn’t like something, he won’t hold back. He’ll be entertaining and I expect he’ll do really well."

Louis will be reunited with his former X Factor co-star and long-time pal Sharon Osbourne later this month, when the mum-of-three enters the Celebrity Big Brother house as a special guest. While fans will be looking forward to watching some possible antics from the two friends, but both stars will be on their best behaviour if ITV bosses get their way.

Sharon and Louis were famous for their scandalous remarks and actions during their time on The X Factor. But since their last appearance on the show in 2017, ITV has done more to look after the well-being of its stars. Both stars have been given "respect and inclusion" training ahead of making their Celebrity Big Brother debuts.

Louis and Sharon - in addition to all 2024 Celebrity Big Brother housemates - have been given training to grasp what counts as proper "use of language and behaviour" before entering the famous house on Monday night. Speaking prior to the standard series of Big Brother kicking off last summer, ITV said: "Housemates are provided with and talked through the Housemate rules, which set out expectations and explain key aspects of life in the Big Brother House."

In the past, Louis, 71, regretted likening Black X Factor contestant Paije Richardson to Lenny Henry in 2010, and he made Dannii Minogue sob while on the judge's panel in 2008. Sharon, 71, doused Louis with water in 2005 after he quizzed her about using her hubby Ozzy's drugs. Sharon also had a notorious falling out with fellow judge Dannii, who said that Sharon had to be escorted from her dressing room due to "screaming and swearing" prior to filming.
