Spring cleaning your home can feel super rewarding, but sometimes the thought of endless scrubbing in the bathroom is enough to put it at the bottom of your to-do list.

Bathrooms can get really grimy quickly, and once you clean it, it seems to be only a matter of days before it's looking less than shiny again. But if you're looking for a way to clean your shower without scrubbing until your arms feel like you've been lifting incredibly heavy weights, one woman has shared how to do it.

@alittleaboutalot shared a way to ensure there are "no deep clean shower days" needed. However, it does mean you have to do something after every shower - but it makes your life easier overall.

The mum said that she'd shared the hack on YouTube around 10 years ago, so she'd been doing it ever since, and it means that you don't have to deep clean your shower, because you're doing a little bit at a time, which adds up.

"I have one of these in each of our showers and baths", she explained, lifting up a Dish-Matic, which can be purchased from Ocado for £1.60, with refills available from B&M for £3. She then shared that inside them she'd added "half Dawn, half vinegar", and then she left it in the shower caddy.

Dawn soap is not freely available in the UK, but an alternative is Fairy Liquid, which can be bought from Poundland for £1, or Ocado for £1.50. Distilled vinegar can be purchased from Tesco for 35p.

"After I'm done taking a shower, I clean the shower, so there are no deep cleaning shower days", she explained, which will be music to people's ears. She also said that she gets her children to do it in their bath and give it a "quick scrubby scrub" once they're out and clean, and it means that no deep cleaning is required, trying to scrub dirt from bathrooms.

In the comments, many praised the mum, with one saying: "My mum saw your YouTube video however many years ago and she still keeps this cleaning hack in her shower to this day!", and someone else praised: "This is so smart." Another said they were going to start it "now", with a cleaning guru warning: "Keep in mind that the Brillo pad portion can scratch certain bathtub finishing! Learned the hard way."
