Meghan Markle "could hinder" her and Prince Harry's "chance of a united front" if she chooses not to reconcile with the Royal Family, according to one expert.

The Duke of Sussex has revealed he will be returning to the UK, but it's unclear if his wife will be joining him. A source has said Harry would love Meghan and their two children to meet with The Firm, but claimed Meghan feels "apprehensive".

The source said the Duchess of Sussex finds being in the UK "very uncomfortable" and said she is unsure about whether to join Harry on the trips. Relationship expert Louella Alderson suggested Meghan could "easily decide not to come".

She told The Mirror: "Meghan's reported apprehension about returning to the UK with Harry and their children could definitely have an impact on their potential reunion with the Royal Family. For starters, if Meghan is apprehensive about returning, she could easily decide not to come at all.

"This would mean that Harry may have to return on his own again, which could hinder the couple's chance of a united front." Louella added: "If she is apprehensive but feels like she is forced to go, she may not be in the best mindset to engage with the Royal Family, which could potentially cause further tension and conflict within the family dynamic. This could also lead to public scrutiny and further damage their relationship with the British media and public."

Speaking to OK! magazine, a source said: "Meghan knows that she hasn't been wanted in the past so why would it be any different this time around." They insisted there will be "lots of calls and Zoom meetings planned" to try to iron things out before Meghan agrees to return to the UK.

Louella suggested: "Communicating over Zoom ahead of their return could be very beneficial. It would allow them to address their concerns or issues beforehand and hopefully start to mend any broken relationships before the reunion takes place.

"This could also give Meghan some reassurance and comfort in knowing that she won't be walking into a completely hostile environment. Setting boundaries is important for both sides in this situation and open communication could help facilitate that."

Harry recently returned to the UK when his father King Charles was diagnosed with cancer, however, Meghan chose to remain in America. It's believed she never wants to step foot in England again after her negative experience of being part of the Royal Family.

Royal author Omid Scobie claimed in his bombshell book Endgame that the Duchess of Sussex "never felt at home" in the UK. He wrote that Meghan "never wants to set foot again in England" again.

Louella Alderson is a relationship expert who spoke to The Mirror on behalf of the So Syncd dating app.
