"No amount of high-paying podcast or Hollywood appearance can help Prince Harry through his court verdict", an expert has warned.

The Duke of Sussex has lost his High Court challenge against the Government over a decision to change the level of his personal security when he visits the UK. This comes after he took legal action against the Home Office over the February 2020 decision of the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (Ravec) that he should receive a different degree of protection when visiting his homeland.

Mere hours after the ruling, Prince Harry has said he plans to appeal the decision. A legal spokesperson for the Duke of Sussex said: “The Duke of Sussex will appeal today’s judgment which refuses his judicial review claim against the decision-making body Ravec, which includes the Home Office, the Royal Household and the Met Police."

Concluding the lengthy statement with: "The Duke of Sussex hopes he will obtain justice from the Court of Appeal, and makes no further comment while the case is ongoing."

And now, following the verdict and Prince Harry's defiant statement to appeal it, a PR guru has weighed in on what the future holds in terms of business opportunities for the Duke. Andy Barr from 10Yetis.co.uk told The Mirror: "The reality is that this was all a storm in a very posh teacup.

"Harry was always going to, and always will, receive police protection when he and his family visit the UK. This was more about his own feeling that sufficient security was not being given."

He added: "No amount of high-paying podcast and Hollywood appearances can really help Harry through this. He is in the unfortunate position that our laws mean he can’t rock up to the UK with his own private, gun-toting American security team and has little option but to trust that the security that is given to him by the UK police will be enough."

Concluding his analysis on the situation Prince Harry has found himself in, Mr Barr added: "The sad ramification to all of this is that if he feels it is unsafe for him and his family to visit the UK, they are less likely to come and see the King during his treatment and recovery from cancer."
