Meghan Markle turned into a "sweet fan girl" as her husband Prince Harry tried out skeleton-bobsledding after the couple hit back at "make or break" claims.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex jetted out to Canada as part of a three-day Invictus Games tour earlier this week and have been spotted in Whistler to take part in some sporting activities. On Thursday, Harry was pictured flying down the course at the Whistler Sliding Track as Meghan cheered him on and took plenty of pictures on her phone.

The couple put on a united front holding hands after insisting they "will not be broken". Body language expert Judi James said the couple seemed to have shifted in their power dynamics, with Harry now taking the lead.

Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, she said: "In terms of Harry and Meghan's body language during this carefree appearance, with Harry trying out the bobsled while Meghan sweetly fan-girled him from the side-lines, beaming with pleasure, there is an air of determined positivity to signal an upbeat approach.

"Meghan's smile remains firmly in place and looks very much like a Duchenne smile, with the rounded cheeks and excited eye expression making it a contagious signal. Harry is in his element doing sporting things and the slide seemed to bring out some congruent smiles of keenness and delight."

Judi suggested Harry took charge of this public appearance. She told us: "Harry's more immersive behaviour here seems to have also brought out a slight change in the couple's power dynamics: on their first appearance it was often Meghan taking the lead but here it is Harry strolling ahead grinning, leading Meghan in the style of a celebrity couple, with the bonded hand clasp firmly in place."

Judi's comments come after Harry and Meghan hit back at claims they "have three days to prove they can behave". A representative for the couple told The Mirror on Wednesday evening: "We've heard time and time again that certain opportunities are make or break for the couple.

"They're still here. They're still working and pursuing what they believe in, despite constantly being challenged and criticised. This couple will not be broken."

As well as trying out skeleton bobsledding, Harry has also been seen hitting the slopes in adaptive skis. Meghan and Harry made sure to have some down time during their trip as well and headed for dinner at upscale Italian restaurant Il Caminetto.
