Prince Harry must be the 'driving force' in ending Royal Family feud
Prince Harry has been urged to end the Royal Family feud, as one expert believes Meghan Markle is too "distant" from The Firm to fix the broken relationship.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have developed a fraught relationship with the royals in recent years. The couple issued a number of attacks against the Royal Family in their Netflix docuseries, with Harry detailing the breakdown of his relationship with his brother Prince William.
He also took aim at his dad King Charles and discussed the tense Megxit crisis meeting held with the Queen in January 2020. Royal expert Duncan Larcombe believes Harry needs to be the one to set things right as Meghan is "an outsider" to the royals.

Meghan is very much an outsider so she's not somebody who can make the first move or be the person that the other royals would reach out to," Duncan told Bella magazine.

He added: "The driving force has to be Harry." However, Duncan believes King Charles is likely to be the first one to officially apologise for the broken relationship. Harry and Meghan's relationship with the Royal Family seems to be on the mend, as the Duke of Sussex made a brief return to the UK earlier this week to visit his father. The trip came after the monarch was diagnosed with cancer.

Meghan stayed in Montecito, California, with their two children - Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. During his trip to the UK, Harry sat down for a half an hour chat with the King. It's believed this was their first proper private conversation for 15 months. It's not yet known what happened in the meeting, and if it was just Charles or if Queen Camilla also joined them.
While Harry spent time speaking with his father, it's not believed he saw his older brother Prince William. A source told The Mirror there was "nothing in the diary" for them to meet, with William reportedly focusing completely on Princess Kate's surgery recovery at the moment.
Harry then returned to Los Angeles on Wednesday, having spent just 25 hours in the UK. He arrived at Los Angeles International Airport around 2.20am.
