Strictly's Dianne Buswell breaks down in tears over dad's health update
Strictly Come Dancing star Dianne Buswell has shared an emotional update about her dad Mark's health.
Last year, she revealed that her dad, who lives in Australia, had been diagnosed with cancer. While she was training EastEnders star Bobby Brazier for the BBC competition, it was a tough time for them both. Despite their efforts, they ended up as runners up against Ellie Leach and her partner Vito Coppola.
Mark continues his treatment in and out of hospital, but there's been a positive change. Dianne shared that her parents have finally managed to start their dream trip around Australia in a camper van. It was a sad moment when they realised Mark wouldn't be able to use the new vehicle straight away due to his diagnosis. The couple had just bought it as a retirement gift.

Dianne Buswell shared two snaps of her mum and dad embarking on their caravan adventures in Australia (diannebuswell/instagram)But now, they are finally able to take short trips away. Sharing two photos of her parents next to their caravan in the Australian sunshine, Dianne said: "Mum and Dad sent me this pic this morning and it made me shed a tear - happy tears."

"My dad's dream has always been to travel around Australia in a caravan, so mum and dad finally bought one for his retirement," the star shared. Sadly, Dad's cancer diagnosis came at the same time, so the caravan has been sitting there waiting to be used! My dad washes it daily.
"Now, between treatments, mum and dad have decided to take their first mini trip away in their brand new caravan. I know this will make my dad very happy which makes me excited! Have a great time mum and Dad! Also, my dad's name is Mark and mum's name Rina so it was dad's idea to call it the markarina caravan," the pro dancer added, as fans showed their support.
