Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are facing 'biggest test' of their relationship
Travis Kelce hasn't spoken with Taylor Swift since the Grammy Awards, suggesting the couple are facing the “biggest test” of their relationship, a body language expert has revealed.
The 34-year-old singer made history on Sunday at the star-studded ceremony in Los Angeles as she became the first performer to win Album of the Year four times. Sadly, Travis couldn’t attend the bash with Taylor due to commitments with his Kansas City Chiefs football team, but notably, the Cruel Summer hitmaker failed to mention her boyfriend in her acceptance speech.
Body language expert Judi James told The Mirror the couple, who have been dating since last August, are facing the ultimate test, and Travis needs to step up his public displays of affection after Taylor showed her unwavering support for him on the football field. During a recent press conference ahead of the Super Bowl on Sunday, Travis seemingly dismissed his girlfriend’s record-breaking musical achievement and was nonchalant when talking about Taylor.

Travis admitted he hasn't spoken to Taylor since Sunday (Getty Images)“This might have been the biggest test of the Swift/Kelce romance to date, but Kelce’s body language seems to have the dials set on suggesting it's no big deal that they are apart while she celebrated possibly the greatest achievement of her life,” she began. “His achievements are always shown by Taylor to be her achievements too as she stands watching him play, going through every celebratory ritual in her repertoire.”

Judi said they need to come together to decide what kind of relationship they want - private, or public? “Now they’ve established their feelings for one another the past few days have been a test of how they will make their relationship work in practice, given the separations and their two very diverse types of stardom. Taylor seems to have defined her own approach, attending 12 Chief’s games and hugging her man out there on the pitch after a game,” she explained.

It seems they haven’t spoken since her win and he seems to feel under no pressure to turn to the cameras and send a message of support to the world. Travis still refers to Taylor in his-world terms here. He shrugs his left shoulder while saying she had brought ‘new faces to the games’ and that ‘she’s part of the Chiefs kingdom right now.’ (Does the ‘right now’ sound a little chilling?)”
Taylor is due to head off on the next international leg of her Eras tour this week, kicking off in Tokyo, but Judi said she’s on tour “but without a loving partner standing by her side.” She added: “Partners in the music industry are like trophies of success as well as being a necessity to fight the loneliness and pressure of solo performing. Couples like Beyonce and Jay-Z take turns to support each other from the front row or the stage while Taylor had to stand cajoling friends to get up on stage with her as she accepted her award and even to stand next to her at the mic so she wasn’t left alone in the spotlight.”

Her life might be fully immersed in his but so far he doesn’t feature publicly in hers, apart from one side of stage appearance a while ago,” Judi stated.
”Fans don’t expect a superstar of Taylor’s level to be looking lonely. It might just be careers separating the loving couple right now but Travis’s hunched body language and casual shrugs here give no hint that he is bridging that vast relationship gap via any public behaviours or statements of his own. His pride needs to be made public in the same wild way hers is for him. And hopefully they will find ways of constant communication when they do have to be separated for their careers,” she added.
