Dancing On Ice have booted out another skating couple after a tense skate-off.

The ITV show returned for another episode this evening as the remaining celebrities performed a new routine for a chance to stay in the competition. S Club star Hannah Spearritt exited the show last week after coming bottom of the leaderboard, as there was no skate off last week due to the sheer numbers of contestants set to perform.

However, this week the skate-off was back and Lou Saunders and Claire Sweeney performed one more time for a chance to make it through to next week's competition. Unfortunately, it was Claire who was sent home.

Speaking about her time on the show, she admitted she had been in serious pain today but with thanks to the physio, she had managed to push through and was glad her son was there to watch her perform.

It has been a dramatic week behind the scenes of the ITV show, according to sources, who have claimed that there was a row between Ricky Norwood and his professional partner Annette Dytrt that nearly led to him quitting the show.

A source said: "Ricky was trying to work on his posture but Annette was getting frustrated that he was not grasping it. He felt that Annette was treating him like a kid and was clearly frustrated at her lack of patience. Ricky stormed off the ice and threw his skates off in a rage while shouting 'I'm done' and 'f*** this,'" but the pair appeared to put on a united front tonight.

Last week, Hannah found herself out of the competition, and in an appearance on This Morning just a few days after, she admitted she suffered a secret scare just a few hours before she went on the ice. She explained: "I'm glad I'm out of it in one piece, do you know what I mean? I can watch it next Sunday on the couch. It was amazing to learn that skill. Yes it is completely dangerous. Anything can go wrong. I had something go wrong three hours before. It wasn't anything major but it just reminds you anything can go wrong at any time. It's just a lot to think about with every move, to make sure it goes right."

Hannah also opened up about her autoimmune condition and how it affected her training, adding: "It had a massive impact at the start, especially. I felt like I've only really come into my own in the last couple of weeks.

"I've been solid and feeling good every day. There was a lot of ups and downs but the last two weeks have been solid. I feel like I was about to get going, but I'm grateful to be able to exercise every day."
