Man pulled from 15ft lake outside SoFi Stadium moments after music concert
A man drowned outside the SoFi Stadium while thousands were enjoying a music concert going on inside.
The unidentified man - believed to be in his early 20s - entered the lake outside the venue at around 9:30pm on Friday, according to police. Crowds have flocked to see musician Illenium's gig, which ended at 11pm. It was at around that point that police discovered a body.
Authorities received a call after an individual was seen walking in the lake. Los Angeles County Fire Department's Urban Search and Rescue team attended alongside the Los Angeles County Fire Department Lifeguards before the lifeless man was found. The unnamed victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Tragedy as 13-month-old boy dies after the stolen car he was in crashed
It is the second death outside the stadium in Inglewood, California. In July 2022, a 45-year-old man hopped the fence to enter the SoFi grounds and was discovered dead. SoFi Stadium opened in September 2020 and is home to the Los Angeles Rams and Chargers of the NFL. The incident remains under investigation, officials confirmed. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Inglewood Police Department at 888-412-7463.
It comes after police continue to investigate after a man was shot and killed during an argument by Hard Rock Stadium following the Miami Dolphins game last month. Miami Gardens Police officials said officers responded just before midnight to a parking lot. Police confirmed 30-year-old Dylan Isaacs died at the scene.
"He was breathing hard, laboured breathing," said Jae Jackson, a man who said he heard the gunfire, and ran over to the victim to help. "He looked like he was going to fight through especially when his girlfriend tapped him on the shoulder and told him 'You're strong, you're going to make it' and he lifted his arm up. So there was hope."
"All I could do was just talk to him," Jackson said. "I felt sorry for him being on the ground by himself. Nobody wants to go out that way. I can't imagine that is how you want to spend your last moments." Football fans who had been at the game told CBS News Miami that they were "horrified".
