Man creeped out after discovering hidden room in his attic after 25 years
A man has been left gobsmacked after discovering a 'hidden room' in his attic after living in the house for 25 years. He made the discovery when putting some ill-used items into storage - and came to learn the wooden ceiling boards were hiding a secret.
When pushing one board to the side, he exposed the 'hidden space' which was covered in cobwebs, wasp nests, and some photo frames. In a resurfaced Reddit post, he said: "Just found a hidden room in my attic after living in that house for 25 years. There are some frames inside - but I can't reach them."

A short while later, he managed to gain access to the room but was disappointed to discover the photo frames were empty. Amazed by his discovery, users brainstormed what he could do with the space - with some saying they'd turn it into a secret den, while others said they'd simply make use of the extra storage room.

But others couldn't help but make jokes about his find, one user said: "Leave it alone. Don’t take anything out of there that’s in there. If you have already, put it back" We don’t need any more curses, plagues, pandemics, anything. Put it back, leave it alone."
Another user added: "All I can look at is the blurry blob and wonder if it's a giant ass spider about to crawl onto you." A third user said: "Get the area saged as soon as possible."
One more user said: "If you felt a gush of soft breeze when you opened the secret door. You have successfully awakened the curse and f***ed the entire f***ing world." A fifth user said: "Whatever you do, don’t mess with the book in there with a face on it. The Necronomicon isn’t friendly."
