Lottery jackpot winner confirmed with £3.6m top prize after 'very lucky January'
One lucky Brit has scooped a whopping £3.6million in the National Lottery's Set for Life game.
Lucky winners of Thursday's Set for Life draw will have £10,000 deposited in their bank account every single month for the next 30 years. Runners-up, who match the five main numbers, will meanwhile land themselves a very comfy £10,000 a month for a year.
Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery, said: “Wow, incredible news! We have another top prize winner on Set For Life – they can now celebrate winning £10k every month for 30 years. What an exciting start to the month, following a very lucky January for Set For Life players, with three separate ticket-holders winning the same top prize in the draws on 8, 22 and 25 January. Players are being urged to check their tickets and to give us a call to claim tonight’s fantastic Set For Life top prize.
“Thanks to National Lottery players, £30M is generated every week for Good Causes. This money helps fund projects across the nation, with over 685,000 grants – supporting projects both big and small – having been made across the UK to date.”
The winning Set For Life numbers are: 03, 07, 11, 23, 29 and the Life Ball is 07.

The draw takes place at 8pm every Monday and Thursday. You can play Set For Life daily until 11pm, or 7.30pm on draw days. Play continues after all draws at 9pm. On Monday, one lucky Brit scooped up the Set for Life jackpot. Today, it was confirmed that someone came forward with their claims.
In September last year, a grandmother revealed that it was insects that motivated her to enter the Set for Life draw and scoop the life-changing win.
Doris Stanbridge scooped the top prize on Thursday, August 3, a week after her 70th birthday after she was prompted to take a chance of the Lucky Dip Set For Life ticket after encountering two money spiders. Due to her incredible win, Doris, from Dorking, Surrey, is now able to retire alongside her 66 year old husband Keith.
She said: "I wasn’t planning on retiring for a few more years but I am going to stop working in the next few months. Keith has already retired, only two weeks before all of this, so we can retire together now and enjoy it. It still seems a bit strange when I think about the win and that I will get that money every month for thirty years."
