Travis Kelce has verbally blasted Baltimore Ravens' kicker Justin Tucker on his podcast.

He accused him of causing their pre-match spat before the AFC championship game on Sunday, saying he was acting like a "f****** d***". The argument started during warm-ups when Kelce and his teammates, including Patrick Mahomes, were watched by fans online having a go at Tucker. They were seen interfering with his practice shots by moving his gear.

However, the Kansas City Chiefs did not let this subtle fuss disrupt their match as they defeated the top-seed Ravens 17-10 in an upset win at MandT Bank Stadium. Travis Kelce was one of the standout players.

Kelce discussed this incident on his Wednesday podcast, "New Heights". He said: "The Ravens have their side of the field and the Chiefs have our side of the field. Now specialists, because of the wind factor, they get a chance to kick at both field goals and punt from both sides of the field.

"But if you’re trying to go on the other team’s designated area, you kind of stay out of their way. You don’t interfere with what they have going on. That’s the unwritten rule. If you want to be a f****** d*** about it, you keep your helmet and your football and your kicking tee right where the quarterbacks are warming up and they are dropping. Guys are looking left and they’ve got a helmet down by their feet. If you’re not going to pick that up, I’ll happily move that for you.

"Justin came out and said it was more of a joking gesture and kind of fun and competitive and I get it, he was kind of winking at me, being a d*** about it, trying to get under the skin. I get it, but me and Pat, we’ve been having the same mentality for this game all week long and it was going in there and having the right mindset. We just weren’t in a joking mood, we were ready to get after it.

"Justin, sorry if we took it to a level that you didn’t think it would get to, but if you’re going to be a d***, I promise you I can one-up you every time, dude. Don’t pin me as the bad guy, he was poking the bear."

Tucker, an amazing player Kelce considers "arguably the best kicker the NFL has ever seen", pointed fingers at the tight end and Mahomes during his press conference on Monday. He revealed to reporters: "For me, it's usually 90 mins before kickoff. I've been doing the exact same thing for 12 years, never really had a problem with anybody."

Kelce's big brother, Jason, explained Tucker's tactics and reputation. He said: "Tucker is known for this. He is a legendary kicker and he knows how to poke the buttons. He knows what he's doing."

Once the match got underway, Kelce demonstrated why hes one of the best in the game. With 11 successful catches, 116 yards covered and an absolutely cracking touchdown, he was undoubtedly the star of the show. Plus, Kelce made some key plays in the second half, helping run the clock down as the team edged closer to victory.

On top of all that, he managed to secure his place at Super Bowl LVIII against the San Francisco 49ers on February 11th at Allegiant Stadium. He should be grinning ear-to-ear at the prospect of potentially earning a third championship ring.
