Prince Harry is "between a rock and a hard place" as he juggles prioritising his wife Meghan Markle and a Royal Family health crisis.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex made a rare red carpet appearance on Tuesday as they attended the Bob Marley: One Love film premiere. The outing comes just days after Harry accepted an honour at the Living Legends of Aviation Awards.

Amid the glitzy appearances, King Charles and the Princess of Wales have both been seeking hospital treatment. Princess Kate is currently in hospital while she recovers from abdominal surgery, while the monarch is set to undergo treatment for an enlarged prostate.

When Harry made a speech at the Living Legend of Aviation Awards, he made sure to steer clear of any reference to his father and sister-in-law's health issues. Instead, Harry joked about his first flight experience.

Royal expert Angela Levin said Harry disregarded the Royal health problems, something which reflects the tense relationship the Sussexes have with The Firm. Speaking to The Sun, she said: "He didn't say anything. I felt that he was bound to say 'I’m so sorry to hear that both my father and sister-in-law are unwell'. He just needed to say one sentence."

Angela said Harry seems to be stuck "between a rock and a hard place". She added: "Deep down he still loves his family but she comes first and that’s ok."

Harry and Meghan were criticised for flying to Jamaica for the Bob Marley: One Love premiere, with many experts calling on them to instead visit the UK and support the Royal Family. Royal expert Phil Dampier told the Daily Mail: "Under normal circumstances there would be nothing wrong with them going to a film premiere. But at a time when his father is going under the knife and Jamaica is making noises about ditching the monarchy, this is rather insensitive."

Posting on X, formerly known as Twitter, Royal New Network wrote: "So Prince Harry and Meghan Markle can't visit or seem to care about sick family members, but can travel to Jamaica to see a Bob Marley movie. The difference? A red carpet of course."

However, other people were delighted to see the Sussexes at the premiere. "They look so healthy abd happy! I’m so goad they can travel so freely without people leaking their location and plans. This is freedom," one person wrote.

Another said: "Harry & Meghan are glowing!" while a third fan commented: "They are beautiful glowing and looking sooo happy." Someone else added: "Love this for them."
