Ross from The Traitors has let slip details about the intense roundtables, and an unseen moment we missed.

The video director was banished from the BBC show just hours before the final. He had been recruited by Harry and Andrew, the existing Traitors, but in the roundtable yesterday evening, he found himself banished. However, he promised a final Easter egg, before revealing that his mum was Diane and the pair of them had been lying to everyone for weeks.

With the remaining contestants - including lying Harry and Andrew - celebrating their success at kicking another person out, Ross was no doubt hoping the Faithfuls had clocked on to his final message to them as he walked out of the castle for good.

Speaking exclusively to The Mirror about the roundtables, he said: "They are intense; they just go on for a lot longer. You're probably there for like a couple hours; you're chatting for a lot longer. There's a few little pauses in between that almost like heighten the suspense. They are really intense. The first couple that I went into, I found it so surreal that I almost was kind of like chuckling inside. Then I quickly realized that people see that I'm laughing, they'll think I'm a traitor."

The group film scenes most of the day, meaning that in the end we only see roughly 5 per cent of what's filmed.

"As a viewer, you see like five per cent of everything that went on, right? And just because you vote someone that on one day, that's just your strongest feeling, but it doesn't mean you don't think someone else. Early on, I actually thought Harry and I said it to mum when we were in the bar and they didn't edit it in but I thought it was Johnny and Harry," he said.

"I basically thought that it was like the army twosome. It was when Paul and the rest of them were in the dungeon and Johnny and Harry were, and they started and I was with them at breakfast and we all started talking about certain theories and Paul and Harry were going, what if they put all of them in the dungeon and didn't leave any up here as like spies or whatever. And then they were both going; that makes really good sense. I'm looking at them going, that makes no sense. That's like the s***test theory ever."
