McDonald's launches two new pink desserts - and a cult-favourite burger is back

McDonalds is launching a brand new all-pink dessert menu ahead of Valentine's Day this year.

While many of us have been cutting back on fast-food post-Christmas, come February you may be craving a seasonal sweet treat. Peppermint and gingerbread-flavoured food items are out, and pink, red, and heart-shaped goodies are back in.

This year, McDonald's will be serving two pink-themed limited edition desserts and bringing back some of its most beloved food items which disappeared off the menu.

Customers can enjoy a duo of hot and cold desserts from the fast-food chain, dressed in red and pink packaging. First up is the brand new Raspberry and White Chocolate Pie, featuring a crispy pink pastry filled with a smooth white chocolate ganache and a delightful raspberry compote. This will set you back £1.99.

Then Maccies has thrown a new KitKat Ruby Chocolate McFlurry into the mix, comprised of soft dairy ice cream swirled with ruby chocolate-covered KitKat pieces and wafer bites. These are then topped with a luscious pink raspberry sauce. This dessert is priced at £1.59 for a regular size and £2.19 for a larger size.

You can get your hands on the new desserts before they arrive at restaurants by downloading the McDonald's app. The new additions will be available to buy on 7th and 8th of February before launching in-store. All the limited edition pink items are available until March 12.

For those who prefer a savoury treat, the eatery is also bringing back the iconic Big Tasty burger [£7.69], and the Big Tasty with bacon costing £8.49.

Another item returning to the menu is the Mozzarella Dippers with Salsa and the Mozzarella Dippers Sharebox with Salsa Dip, much to the joy of cheese fans. The dippers are priced at £2.39 and the Sharebox is £6.49. All returning items are available from February 7 until March 12.
