Kerry Katona is pledging to help her long-time pal Katie Price get through her recent break up. The two celebs, who have been mates since they shared adventures in the I'm a Celebrity Get me Out of Here jungle back in 2004, have gotten even closer during this festive period.
The former Atomic Kitten star, 43. wants to offer a hand to Katie following her split from fiance Carl Woods, which has been on and off since the pair got together in 2020. "In the past, when she's been single, Katie has been known to go a bit wild as a bit of a coping mechanism, so pals are hoping she won't be heading into trouble again," a source shared with Closer magazine.
"Kerry has really been encouraging Katie to slow down a bit and look after herself," the insider added. "Katie leans quite heavily on Kerry for support and guidance, and Kerry wants to help Katie continue to turn her life around this year. Katie had some low moments in 2023 and it's heartbreaking that she doesn't seem able to move on."

Speaking to OK!, Kerry said: "Our kids get along so well and it made me realise we need to meet up more often. It has been 20 years since we did I'm a Celeb, so the girls were asking us about that and saying they'd like to do it too."

In other news, Katie revealed to The Guardian that she suspects she may have body dysmorphia. She admitted: "I might have body dysmorphia. My mum thinks there's a pattern. If something happens in my life, I go for surgery." She also acknowledged her resilience to anaesthesia, saying: "I'm good with anaesthetic - I'm never sick and I like being put to sleep. It's such a nice feeling, and you wake up with something new."
The former glamour model didn't hold back discussing her post-breakup transformation on her podcast, The Katie Price Show. She seemed to take a dig at ex-partner Carl when she asserted that she can now "wear and do what I want".
