Dancing On Ice fans were left calling out the latest episode of the new series.

Viewers fumed on X, formerly Twitter, as the show kicked off its second live show of the 2024 series. This week, six more famous names took to the ice rink in a bid to impress the judges and viewers.

Ashley Banjo, Oti Mabuse, Christopher Dean and Jayne Torvill were back on hand with scores and feedback. As hosts Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern got back to proceedings, it was Coronation Street star Claire Sweeney, EastEnders actor Ricky Norwood, Made in Chelsea’s Miles Nazaire, comedian Lou Sanders, Eddie “the Eagle” Edwards and DJ Adele Roberts taking to the ice.

But just after Corrie's Claire did her first performance with pro skater Colin Grafton, hosts Holly and Stephen announced the show was going to an advert break. With the show only just starting and only one act performing, fans were left annoyed about this, claiming there was too many ad breaks after the same thing happened last week.

One fan posted: "I do love @dancingonice but come on it’s only been on 10 mins and it’s time for a break." Another said: "Ffs a break already," and a third said: "Whats with the ads? Problems in the studio?"

The comments kept on coming with another reading: "The ads after ever performance does my head on," as another said: "First ad break 11 minutes in." One pairing will be axed from the show on Sunday night after the public vote, with the judges getting the final say.

Last week viewers learned that Ricky Hatton was at risk of leaving the show, after landing in the first skate-off. Six of the contestants performed last Sunday, including Amber Davies, Greg Rutherford, Hannah Spearritt, Ricky, Roxy Shahidi and Ryan Thomas.

However, one of them ended up in the skate-off - whilst the others sailed through to the second week of the ITV skating show. Speaking about being in the skate-off, Ricky said he wasn't surprised as he shared: "I should have never been here, but it's another week of practice. And we'll just practice and hopefully get another chance to make people smile again."
