Corrie's Lauren's new love interest teased after dumping mystery boyfriend
Coronation Street has hinted at a new love interest for Lauren Bolton after she dumped her mystery boyfriend earlier this week.
Only recently, the troubled youngster has been dropping hints about having a rich boyfriend, leaving those around her suspicious as to whether he exists. On Monday's episode, Max Turner invited Lauren over for tea with his girlfriend Sabrina Adetiba, who also invited Gav.
In a bid to find out more information about Lauren's boyfriend, Sabrina suggested that he come along too leaving Lauren looking concerned. Later, Lauren joined the trio but made out that her boyfriend had to be elsewhere working late. It wasn't long until Lauren and Gav got on well but her phone soon went off.

On Wednesday night, Sabrina continued to grill Lauren about her boyfriend, asking what he does for a living to which the youngster claimed he's into coding, IT, numbers and computers, adding his hours are crazy so she barely gets to see him. Lauren kept trying to change the subject, especially when they suggested meeting up, to which Max decided to ask Lauren for the truth, questioning if he even exists.

Lauren was left outraged at the accusation as she tearfully ordered Max out of the café. Later, when alone, Lauren rung her mystery boyfriend, saying that people keep thinking he doesn't exist. The two started to argue before Lauren insisted that they were "finished" as he tried to ring her again, with viewers not seeing the identity of the caller.

Lauren decided to knock back the vodka from a secret stash in her handbag, which resulted in her being kicked out the venue by a furious Toyah. During the scenes, Gav admitted he was interested in Lauren, revealing the only reason he joined the group for lunch was because she was single but would never make a move while she was drunk.
Later, after being kicked out, Lauren was visited by Max and Gav, who asked her about her mystery boyfriend. Max, who had seen Lauren talking to Daniel Osbourne earlier, then asked if Daniel was her ex to which a horrified Lauren insisted it was not him. Lauren refused to reveal who her mystery ex was, which led to Gav sharing some sweet words.
Gav said that Lauren will find someone nice and kind who really cares about her, pointing out that she was lovely and gorgeous. Admitting he was interested, Gav said he could tell Lauren had stuff going on and he could be a good mate to her. Is this the last of Lauren's mystery ex boyfriend and could romance blossom with Gav?
