Mortified Dermot O'Leary apologises for swearing blunder on This Morning
This Morning host Dermot O'Leary was forced to apologise to viewers during Friday's instalment of the ITV show after a swear word aired during the programme.
The TV presenter, 50, who was hosting alongside Alison Hammond, 49, on Friday, appeared on screen after the show cut to an ad break after the swear word was accidentally aired.
Before the adverts, Dermot and Alison told viewers that South London rapper Tinie Tempah would be joining them to lift the lid on his brand new TV show where he explores grand homes - MTV Cribs style.

However, the track included the line :“I'm a star and I bought my f****** cast out”, - and unfortunately for the This Morning team, it was that segment of the song that was played live on air.
Unfortunately, the swear word was not bleeped out and viewers were quick to pick up on the blunder as they flocked to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their reactions. One viewer wrote: “Naughty naughty. Swear words on This Morning."

"I didn't hear any swear word," another person wrote after the blunder went unnoticed. And another agreed: "I feel I must be deaf because I didn't hear anything. What's everyone talking about lol."
“Ermm did I hear that lyric right??” asked someone else.“I’m sure This Morning has just played Tinie Tempah saying f****** at 11.31am, another quipped.
Someone else suggested that broadcasting watchdog Ofcom would probably hear about it. "Ofcom going to go to overdrive now," they joked.
When the ITV programme returned from its commercial break, Alison and Dermot could be seen sitting on the sofa with rather serious expressions on their faces.
Dermot told viewers: “Welcome back to This Morning. Apologies for that swear word that you might have heard just before the break.” And Alison quickly changed the subject as she proceeded: “Now it’s time for our phone in.”
