King Charles seems to see Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as more of a passive annoyance than anything else, according to the King's latest biography.

On Thursday, Robert Hardman released his biography on the new King titled Charles III: New King New Court. Before its release, the book has already made some claims about Harry and Meghan, such as the Queen's "anger" at the couple naming their daughter Lilibet.

But Robert has a lot more to report on about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex than just that. He interviewed various sources close to the Royals as he wrote his book and let the readers into how Charles might be feeling about his son and daughter-in-law.

"The departure of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex from royal life in 2020 and their subsequent sensational attacks on the institution, on camera and in print, have hurt," Robert wrote in his book, referencing when Harry and Meghan stepped back from royal duties almost four years ago and have been slamming the royals ever since.

A friend of the royals was quoted in the book as saying: "Of course, the King is extremely sad about Harry and Meghan but there is a sense of exasperation, that he has done what he can and now he is King, there are many more things to think about.

"He has tried listening. Now he just says: 'I don't want to know what the problem is. I'm just getting on with my life," the source continued.

A senior official said: "You'd always like your child back. But when your child has decided that, at the moment, they want to do things differently you have to give them the space to do that. The door is always open though."

The book claims the separation between Harry and Charles did seem to push Charles and his eldest, Prince William, together. William is described as having "his own set of issues" with Harry and Meghan which have been public since Harry's memoir was released last year.

In his book, Harry claimed that William started a physical fight with him, and William and Kate Middleton egged him on to wear the infamous Nazi costume to a fancy dress party.
