Emmerdale fans 'work out' sinister Tom twist as they spot 'strange' clue
Emmerdale fans think they have predicted a 'sinister' Tom King twist amid his engagement to Belle Dingle.
On Tuesday's episode, Tom, who Belle proposed to over Christmas with the help of Torvill and Dean, revealed that he had booked their wedding, declaring the date as February 15th. Belle was left confused, saying: "Really? I mean, we haven't actually discussed it!" to which Tom started to get defensive.
Sensing his awkwardness, Belle quickly added: "No! They're all perfect, this is exactly what I had in mind!" Prior to this, Tom had been pressuring Belle to set a date as he couldn't wait any longer to marry her.

Soap fans will recall Tom proposed to Belle, who gently turned down his proposal as it felt too soon and she pointed out it felt bad timing with everything going on with Lydia Dingle. However, Tom didn't take the news well and as Belle reassured him she wasn't "saying no", he attempted to storm out.
Belle tried to stop Tom from leaving but he violently pushed Belle, shouting "leave me alone" as Belle hit her head on the table, leaving the scared character bleeding. Tom was quick to apologise, insisting he would never do it again and he'd never want to hurt her, begging for another chance to which Belle insisted it was "okay", saying: "I've already forgotten it". Belle failed to tell her family any of the worrying details, pretending that Tom took her proposal rejection well and that it had made them closer.

Just last year, fans were left fearing for Belle after a very worrying Tom scene (ITV)With Tom desperate to marry Belle and arranging things without her, viewers are worried it could be leading to a sinister storyline. Taking to Twitter, now X, one person said: "Belle and Tom in #Emmerdale is the start of a domestic/emotional abuse storyline isn’t it. Feeling sick. It’s good for them to highlight it though and to portray how it all starts" while a different account put: "Something not quite right about Tom #emmerdale".
Elsewhere, another viewer wrote: "#Emmerdale. I’ve said it before but that Tom is sinister. Call the whole thing off Belle", a different account put: "I still think Tom will go all controlling over belle. Not talking through the wedding day and doing it very quickly. Just seems strange. #Emmerdale" while another added: "Belle is starting to be controlled by Tom #Emmerdale."
