Katie Price breaks silence as 'bailiffs attend home over £250k debts to ex'
Katie Price has broken her silence amid reports bailiffs attended her sprawling home.
The 45-year-old mum-of-five was first declared bankrupt back in 2019 - and has gone on to face legal and financial issues since. Part of her strife includes a dispute with ex-husband Alex Reid, 48 - who was married to Katie from 2010 until 2011 - who claims she owes him £250,000 in compensation.
Reports have suggested Katie still owes Alex the money despite a court order to make the payment four years ago. And on Monday, enforcement officers were photographed attending Katie’s home - which is nicknamed the Mucky Mansion but is believed to be worth £1.3 million.
Images showed the officers gathering at Katie’s home in West Sussex - they were noticeable due to their uniforms and one agent was seen with paperwork that had numbers handwritten on at least one of the pages. But while the drama was unfolding, Katie appeared not to give any care in the world.

The proud mum has been an active OnlyFans content creator since January 2022 - sharing saucy snaps of herself online for a $7.50 (£5.90) per month subscription.

The star took to Instagram Stories to plug her erotic snaps, sharing a short video clip of herself having her make-up applied by a make-up artist. She was also showing off her newly puffed-up lips - which she had injected last week to give a ‘butterfly lip’ effect; a procedure believed to cost £550. She also had a bum lift last week - which comes with a price tag of approximately £1,700.
Furthermore, it is possible she wasn't even at home as she was due to be in Dublin on Monday evening to meet fans. Promoting an event on Sunday night, she wrote on her Instagram page: "Tomorrow I’ll be in Dublin, Ireland at the Harvey Nichols Dundrum store doing a makeup masterclass at 6pm."

He asked: “Have you been in love?” And she immediately responded: “Do you know, this is the trouble, and even in therapy I’ve realised men are my destroyer in life. It’s true though.”
Katie has been taking swipes at her past lovers again - with on-off fiancé Carl Woods being added to the scrap heap of her love life at the end of last year as they split seemingly for the final time. Speaking on a podcast, Katie explained that she still believed in love - but wouldn’t be wasting her time on men she knows will leave her.
She huffed: “So I haven't really been in a good situation, so for me to get married again, they have to tick the right boxes, or they have to have more to lose than me because I'm just sick of these cling-ons that turn into Mr Price's and then want to be famous and all of this. I'm just sick of it, I just want to meet someone who wants me for me.”
