High Court Enforcement Officers have been spotted visiting Katie Price's property just days on from the star hitting back at those criticising her spending habits.

Katie, 45, was declared bankrupt in 2019 with debts of £3.5million but has managed to retain ownership of her West Sussex property amid her financial struggles.

The mum-of-five had been due to attend a hearing regarding her bankruptcy case earlier this month but the planned hearing before an insolvency court in London has now been rescheduled to the end of April.

On Monday, enforcement agents were pictured in the car park of a local garden centre opposite Mucky Mansion, Katie's family home.

The sighting comes less than a week on from Katie furiously responding to critics who questioned her decision to get pricey hair extensions despite being bankrupt. After showing off her new hair extensions, estimated to cost around £6,000, on a TikTok live stream, some fans accused the mum-of-five of not being truthful about her financial situation.

In response, Katie said: "We've all been there, yeah exactly don't knock people, I don't. You should never knock anybody that tries to make money to support their family and their kids." She added: "I have to run the house, if you think about it I've got 5 kids, I run the house, the animals, like it's an expensive thing having kids, you know all the food shopping, the heating, everything, and I'm trying to work and do everything.

"And so what if I want to sit in my kitchen and get my hair done, but you get d*******s out there who go 'urgh are you skint?'" Katie continued: "Well what are you doing, are you sitting there, the people who say that, no. Whatever job you do out there, it's a job and who cares. A job is a job, money is money."

Last month, Katie vowed to "bring back her empire" while attending her latest bankruptcy hearing amid reports suggesting she might have to sell her Sussex home to cover her debts. She bought the Mucky Mansion property for £1.3m about nine years ago, and after some renovations documented in a Channel 4 series, it's now estimated to be worth around £2m.

A large chunk of Katie's £3.265m debt is tied up in mortgages on the Mucky Mansion. The Mirror last year revealed that Katie has listed the eight-bedroom house for rent at an eye-watering £6,000 per month. But issues like a mouldy bathroom and rumours of hauntings have deterred potential renters, a source told us in October.

Mum-of-five Katie bought her West Sussex mansion in 2014 for £1.3million at the height of her fame. However, due to neglect, flooding and financial issues, the house fell into disrepair. Katie even moved into rented accommodation while her Mucky Mansion was being spruced up.

The Channel 4 series Katie Price's Mucky Mansion showed Katie turning her vandalised 19-room mansion into a dream home for her family. A third series was planned but got cancelled when the second series' viewership dropped by 300,000. In June, on her podcast The Katie Price Show, Celebrity Big Brother winner Katie hinted she might rent out the mansion after her show was axed.

The two-time I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! star said: "I'm still thinking of renting it, it's just too big for me. I'm always up in Essex at the minute. [I want to] get something smaller. I don't know. I just think this house gives me bad luck. It's such a good family home but it is too big for me. It's more of an excuse for the kids to make a mess."

In July, a court hearing, which neither Katie nor her legal representative attended, was informed that the star had breached a payment agreement, according to the applicant's barrister, Darragh Connell. Katie had previously agreed to pay £12,000 a month through an individual voluntary arrangement, but her creditors claimed she hadn't been keeping up with the payments.

In September, it was reported that forensic investigators were looking into how Katie Price funds her extravagant lifestyle. A source said: "There is going to be no stone left unturned, as they try to ascertain what is going on with her finances."

Despite enjoying 14 holidays last year and several luxury trips this year, Katie has said being declared bankrupt was "not the end of the world". She added: "I think it's quite good I am in a bankruptcy it's made me re-evaluate things. Everything in my life is now in place, never be embarrassed about being in a bankruptcy."
