Dancing On Ice star Ricky Hatton is at risk of leaving the show tonight - after landing themselves in the first skate-off.

Six of the contestants performed tonight including Amber Davies, Greg Rutherford, Hannah Spearritt, Ricky Hatton, Roxy Shahidi and Ryan Thomas for a chance to make it through to the second round of the competition. However, one of them ended up in the skate-off - whilst the others sailed through to the second week of the ITV skating show.

Speaking about being in the skate-off, Ricky said he wasn't surprised as he shared: "I should have never been here, but it's another week of practice. And we'll just practice and hopefully get another chance to make people smile again."

Tonight was all about Holly Willoughby, who made her return to live TV tonight for the first time since she quit This Morning back in October. She is now hosting Dancing On Ice alongside her long-time friend Stephen Mulhern, after Phillip Schofield stood down from presenting duties and his work with ITV after admitting to an "unwise but not illegal" affair with a younger male colleague.

Holly stepped down from This Morning back in October 2023, citing family reasons. She said in a statement at the time: "I've let ITV know today that after 14 years, I will not be returning to This Morning. To everyone who has ever worked on the show over the years, thank you so so much. This is such a difficult goodbye, you are incredible and I forever will be proud of what we've done together. Thank you to everyone at ITV for being supportive. To every guest who has sat on our sofa, thank you.

"Most of all, thank you to the wonderful viewers. You've been so loyal, so supportive and the very best company every day. Richard and Judy said 'we only look after this show, it will always belong to the viewers'. It's been an honour to just be part of it's story and I know this story has many chapters left to go. Sadly, however, I now feel I have to make this decision for me and my family."

She returned tonight for Dancing On Ice, and earlier in the week, she had shared a snap of her reading the scripts for the new series. It was the first time she had posted on social media since she issued her statement about leaving This Morning.

Sources confirmed to The Mirror that Holly had missed the photo call for Dancing On Ice to prepare for her return.

"Holly doesn’t want any distractions at the moment so she wasn’t at the photoshoot. And for her it is more about rehearsals and getting the series off to a great start with a new co-host. She’s putting all her energy into the show. Holly is a total professional and as always she will be putting her heart and soul into the series with Stephen," our insider said.
