Woman's satisfying revenge on sister-in-law who 'always forgets' her purse
Things can get a little awkward at family meals when it comes to working out who is going to pay - but one woman was so fed up with her sister-in-law conveniently "forgetting" her purse that she decided to get revenge.
On the BTS podcast, hosts discussed a Reddit 'Am I the a**hole' post, captioning their TikTok video of the segment "Is she wrong for making her sister-in-law pay for her share of the bill?"
The question was: "Am I the a**hole for bringing my sister-in-law's wallet to the restaurant when she conveniently always forgets it?", which elicited giggles from the podcast hosts with one saying these things were "getting out of hand."
The podcast host read: "My sister-in-law Amy always comes to visit from out of town. She stays with us instead of in a hotel and always wants to go to these expensive restaurants." She then furiously asked: "Why is it always the people that don't have the funds always suggesting something unfundable?" "Yes, yes!", the others agreed.
"She always conveniently forgets her wallet, or comes up with some excuses as to why she can't pay her fair share. She implied that since I make so much more money than her I should be the one to pay. Not my husband should pay, but me specifically.

"I do make a fair amount of money but not so much that I can treat someone every time they come into town. Nevertheless, in the past, I have just paid the bill and asked her to pay me back. She never has.
"She has made a reservation at an extremely expensive restaurant last night and before we left I made it clear that I would not be paying her bill. This is where I might be the a**hole and I admit I got this move straight out of an episode of 'Two and a Half Men'. As we were leaving she and my husband went to the car, I pretended I had forgotten something and went back inside, and I found her wallet sitting right on top of her suitcase and put it in my purse when we went to the restaurant.
"When we were done eating I asked for separate bills, and she said no, because we need one bill because I forgot my wallet again. I reached into my purse and said 'this wallet? This wallet right here?' She was extremely furious and she said that I should not have touched or grabbed her wallet. So am I the a**hole?"
The women collectively shouted "no", because the woman who kept forgetting her wallet was clearly playing a game, and people in the comments agreed. "Am I the a**hole for making someone pay for their damn self? No", someone fumed. Another raged: "What makes me more upset is that the brother hasn't stepped in prior to this and said something!"
One TikToker commented: "She better than me cause I woulda just used her card to pay for the whole thing", with another pointing out: "Her reaction shows that she's intentionally leaving her wallet to avoid paying."
