Emmerdale's Tracy struggles in new Caleb update as fans 'rumble' twist
Emmerdale's Tracy Metcalfe will find herself struggling next week when her Caleb Milligan revenge plan seriously backfires.
Soap watchers will recall that Tracy got revenge on Caleb last week after their affair was exposed. Only recently, Caleb and Tracy have embarked in a shock affair despite the latter being newly married to Nate Robinson, whose uncle is Caleb. On Christmas Day, the duo were rumbled by a shocked Moira Dingle, who ordered Caleb to end his relationship with Tracy.
After their affair was exposed, Caleb put an end to their romance, leaving Tracy both devastated and humiliated. Later, Tracy decided to get revenge by blackmailing Caleb into supporting her nursery project or she would tell his brother Cain Dingle, whose son is Nate. Tracy said: "Maybe you underestimate me", claiming she only got with him to get "more from life", she warned: "I'm not messing around here."
However, Tracy's plan backfires in upcoming scenes as she takes the opportunity to pitch her forest nursery idea to Gabby Thomas who eagerly considers it. Empowered, Tracy informs Caleb she intends to buy him out of her business, but his smug scepticism gets under her skin.

This leaves Tracy furious and she asks Moira for her opinion, who suggests giving the money back and seeing if Caleb really takes it. However, this leaves Tracy instead contemplating the idea of telling Nate the truth about her affair.

Worrying for her family, Moira warns this could mean the end of her marriage and is left uneasy when Tracy implies that’s exactly what she intends to do.... Later, Caleb’s caught on the back foot when defiant Tracy reveals she has transferred his money back to him, doing her best to have his influence over her relinquished. But how will Tracy react when Caleb keeps the money on the table for her, promising it’s not over for them yet?
And with the arrival of Caleb Miligan's ex or not ex-wife Ruby Fox-Milligan coming in 2024, could we expect a bombshell to destroy the Dingles? It comes as some soap watchers think there could be another twist to come, speculating that Tracy could be pregnant, leaving her in a dilemma of who is the father, especially as Caleb's wife Ruby is set to join the village soon.
Taking to Twitter, now X, one person said: "#Emmerdale Tracy of course will be pregnant soon. A paternity storyline will follow. Surprised Caleb actually trying to walk away from Tracy", a different account put: "I hope Tracy gets pregnant and it’s Caleb’s. #Emmerdale", another viewer wrote: "Cue Tracy getting pregnant & not knowing if Nate or Caleb's the daddy #Emmerdale" while another added: "Will Tracy fall pregnant after affair with Caleb?"
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
