Taylor Swift's 'age and confidence' behind incredible 2023, says celeb PR expert

Taylor Swift has had an incredible 2023, even by her own high standards. The pop superstar has received over 100 award nominations, completed 66 tour dates, released two albums, attended nine Kansas City Chiefs games and found love with Travis Kelce.

The 'Shake It Off' singer, 34, was named Time's Person of the Year recently and watched as her Eras tour became the highest-grossing music tour ever. Her success doesn't seem to be slowing down, either, and a PR expert believes Taylor's growing confidence can be down to her age.

Jane Owen told the Mirror: "I think it [her 2023 success] has a huge amount to do with her age and the confidence and wisdom that comes with it. When anyone is in their 20s they (we all) are just figuring everything out at a million miles an hour, we don't know what we are doing in our 20s nor should we."

She added: "I can imagine that the feeling of being pulled in a million directions that we all experience in our 20s is exacerbated by a huge amount when you are also famous and in the public eye 24/7. As Taylor grows up and is in her 30s she's becoming more confident, comfortable in her own skin and sure of herself. The fact that she can turn that into personal and professional success is a huge win."

Taylor spent the end of the year with her boyfriend Travis, who is often busy with his football career. On Christmas Day, Taylor and her family went to Arrowhead to watch as the Chiefs were beaten by the Las Vegas Raiders.

But, they also swapped some fancy and pricey presents. Travis, 34, reportedly splashed out on posh holidays for the pair to enjoy some alone time after the season ends.

The U.S. Sun said that Travis plans to return Taylor's support and join her when her tour kicks off again. He's rumoured to have booked tables at some of Europe's best restaurants and stays at some of Europe's swankiest suites, starting with the 5-star Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris, which will cost Kelce around $6,300 a night.
