Lewis Hamilton romance rumours as F1 star parties with Kanye West's model ex

Formula 1 fans are convinced Lewis Hamilton is dating Brazilian model Juliana Nalu after they were spotted together at a New Year's Eve bash.

Hamilton usually travels during his time off over a winter break and it appears this year is no different. He was spotted in the Brazilian resort of Trancoso on Saturday - and he wasn't alone.

Photos and footage posted on social media shows the Mercedes driver cosying up to model Nalu as they are mobbed by fans. Hamilton can also be seen reaching out to hold hands with her as they leave the event, again surrounded by an excited group of people.

Hamilton was wearing a baseball cap and a designer shirt and was surrounded by bodyguards. But footage also shows him cracking a smile for locals as he goes about his business.

Naturally, fans were excited to see the footage! Several pointed out how the two of them had been seen to hold hands, as one posted: "Omg he reached out for her!"

And several others correctly noted that this is far from the first time the two have been spotted together. Hamilton and Nalu have been pictured many times over the last 12 months, since they first were linked after social media images of a trip to Antarctica emerged last winter.

Nalu spent just a couple of months dating rap star Kanye West before they split up in December last year. And weeks later she was holidaying on the frozen continent at the same time Hamilton was there enjoying some down time after a long season.

Snowboarding legend Shaun White was also present with his actress wife Nina Dobrev and posted an image on his Instagram page of himself in a hot tub with Hamilton. The F1 racer had his arm around a woman who only had her shoulder in the frame of the photo, but fans were able to identify the mystery woman as Nalu.

There has been nothing official to suggest that Hamilton and Nalu are indeed romantically involved. But there is intense speculation about his love life which only intensified earlier this year when he was strongly linked with singing star Shakira after they were spotted together on a number of occasions.

Meanwhile, Hamilton's presence in Brazil on Saturday comes as no surprise. He has spoken on many occasions about his love for the South American country, which made him an honorary citizen at a ceremony in November last year.
